The New Zealand racing industry is showing their support for the NZ Horse Ambulance Trust by putting up six experiences or items for auction in the Trust's fundraiser on gavelhouse.com.
The New Zealand Horse Ambulance Trust operates a national fleet of 10 horse ambulances, equipped with support and recovery equipment to assist in the provision of critical care to horses injured while competing in equine sports.
A purpose-built horse ambulance is on track at every thoroughbred race meeting and trial and harness race meeting in New Zealand.
The Trust has organised a ‘here for the horse’ live auction on gavelhouse.com to raise funds in order to help keep their national fleet operational.
The auction launched on gavelhouse.com on Tuesday evening and runs through to 7pm on Monday.
